Thanks to everyone for making this a fantastic weekend! We had a great time hanging out with everyone and catching up after being gone for so long. We missed Jay, Sara and Savanna but were happy that we successfully got almost everyone together for two entire days. Don't be shy about visiting us in Tallahassee. Joshua will be happy to share his bedroom. Hope everyone gets a chance to rest before going back to work.
This blog will remain under our reign if anyone wants to post in the future (photos, family news, planning the next Reichley fiasco, etcetera). Hope everyone made it back home without any major events.
I guess the next step is for everyone who has photos to make up a CD and send it off to Joanna. She is responsible for putting an album together. I had hope she would make up a book from Shutter fly or Walgreens, etc so that we could buy a copy for ourselves if we wanted. We'll see what she comes up with. Of course, it will have to wait for her to return to the USA. She has, yet again, left the country for Haiti. Go girl!
ReplyDeleteAlso, Happy Mother's Day to all us Moms...we rock! :-)Love you all. That was an awesome (but too short) weekend! Can't wait for the next.
I am posting the recipe for the chinese noodle salad for anyone who wants it;
ReplyDelete1 pkg cole slaw (1 pound)
1 bunch green onions
2 pkg ramen noodles (beef flavor)
1c dry roasted sunflower seed
1c slivered almonds
1/2c sugar
3/4c oil
1/3c white vineager
Chop green onions (stems and all) add to cole slaw mix, place in big bowl;
Dressing: mix sugar, oil, vineager, and ramen noodle seasonings in container with lid, shake well;
Before serving crush ramen noodles, mix with sunflower seeds, and almonds add all to cole slaw and onions.
Pour dressing over top and mix.
You can make everything ahead of time and add dressing at time of serving. It will get soggy if dressing added to early before eating.
Enjoy!
